What do you prefer Chrome or just Black for steel wheels? Why?

For off road, yep, black steel cragars, cheap and lookin great..

For on/off road, the checker type of rims, which I posted before.. Ahhh they are sweet..

Those look sweet!!! How much they gonna run you? I'm guess'in at lest $150 clams each at least!

I got chrome cragars from summit racing. I live about ten miles from their store in Mogadore, Ohio!! Got them cheaper than the blacks cause I got a friend on the inside there!!!

I live in the state of salt (Ohio) and travel to Wv land of great trails, creeks, and crappy roads. I think I would have to paint those black wheels consatanly to avoid rustation.

Black steelies all the way!!!!!!!!!! Crager soft 8's(unique steel) from discount tires in 16x7 for $50 apiece.Can't best that price when you beat it to death it's cheap to replace.Chrome steelies ussually cost way more than the black one's.

Lots easier to paint black wheels than to try and do something with the chrome ones when they start rusting.

too heavy? I considered them but chickened out once jeepjeepster talked me out of them since I whine too much about my mpg.
