Or, do you think I could just get by with vacuuming the system and a recharge?

2005 AC Help - What am I doing wrong?

@Ksat - I only flushed the Evaporator, The short all metal line from the Evaporator to the Dryer IN port, and the Suction line (Line from Dryer out to Compressor.) Everything else was brand new installed. Well, I was able to spend a little time with it this morning to try and see if I could...

2005 AC Help - What am I doing wrong?

Ok 2005 3.7L. Bought used a couple of years ago. AC didn't work and I could smell coolant in the truck. Replaced everything on AC system (All parts new) and heater core. Evacuated and recharged AC system worked fantastic. Within a couple of months, AC stopped getting cold. Attached gauges...

I know this is an old thread but I have a question, what PCV valve (part #) are you putting in place of the crank case breather fitting in the back left of the motor?

    Front Turn Signals -Help Me

You will most likely need to trace the wires from the turn signal into the vehicle. It was probably cut somewhere during the collision. Reconnect the splice color for color and make sure to cover and seal any bare wires.

    Power Steering Pump Questions?

Thanks for the answers gang! I did a whole bunch of degreasing to try and find the leak and I'm not sure now its from the PS pump or lines. I've also checked the fluid level a couple of times and its stayed the same so I'm kind of still looking. With all the cleaning I'm thinking maybe its an...

    Power Steering Pump Questions?

Hey gang, noticed some leaking on the garage floor and followed it to the Power Steering. I'm thinking its either the reservoir or the pump, can't tell with it on so I pan on pulling it off to see for sure. Is there a replacement gasket to go between the reservoir on the pump? Part#...anyone...

I just followed the body lines on the hood, pretty easy. Thanks though for the compliments.

I did not precut the vinyl for hood wrap. It's actually quite easy to do. You'll need some knifeless cutting tape. Clean your surface where you'll be wrapping, and apply the knifeless tape in your design, make sure the knifeless tape is sticks out so you can start it. Also if you are not...

Thanks! The Dash isn't all that hard if you take your time and be patient. I'd suggest taking pictures along the way and marking screws. Just think of all the money you save doing it yourself too.

ElecTape's Deep Beryl Green Build Thread

With the seat skins washed and clean I can now reassemble my two front seats and add my seat heaters. Started with one of the seat backs. Back together. Now for the bottom. Add the cover. Then its time to assemble the seat and add the wiring for the seat heaters. All nice and tidy...

ElecTape's Deep Beryl Green Build Thread

Once the dash was all back together, I took the opportunity to pull the carpet out to replace it. I ordered a replacement carpet kit which arrived and was the wrong color. Argh! It also was not at all what I expected, no padding, the molding was not right and lots of other issues. So I sent...

Ironically this is a good time to change sparkplugs too. Since you've pulled the coolant overflow you can get to the 2 rear plugs on the passenger side. With the Heater Core out You'll need to take out a ton of screws to separate it into two halves. Take the time to clean the inside out...
