So there is enough room to slide a tow strap onto the hook without removing the "knockouts"?

Kinda, what I did was slide the thinner part of the loop on, then pull it through. I might cut them though, don't think I'd fell like doing that in the muck....
I don't foresee him getting stuck b/c he'd have a coronary if it got dirty.
I've been stuck once!

I think I will too...I'd use the dremel, but I can't to the curve...

I'd definitely use masking tape to keep it from "walking"....project for this weekend...
