2007 Jeep Liberty (4WD) 3.7l V6...
Started having issues with the Jeep running well over the last few months and it's gotten a lot worse over time. Looking online etc it sounds like an issue with the Throttle Body. Started first of all by cleaning it, it seemed to run A LITTLE BETTER but not significantly so. Picked up another Throttle Body and figured since I have the old throttle body off I'd also install a new Oring Gasket that goes between the bottom of the Throttle Body and top of the Intake Manifold.

The Problem, I've ordered 3 Gaskets and all 3 are different and NONE of them are the right gasket. Using search parameters of Throttle Body Base Gasket (O-Ring) or Intake Manifold Gaskets. I just called Autozone and they gave me a number and said that's the gasket I need to order. Got online and that number is not for a GASKET it's an entire set of gaskets to replace all the gaskets. Evidently, they think I'm rich! Geesh.

The gasket/Oring is on the left, the Picture on right shows the groove the Gasket is supposed to go into. One of the gaskets they sent me is like a thin piece of cellophane, considerably thinner than this rubber-like gasket. The other gasket another company sent me is about 1/10 the diameter of the original gasket, the third gasket is a simple flat paper gasket, that on the package says made for old 4 cyl Jeeps in the late '70s and early '80s right on the package, even though the description said for 2002-2012 Jeep Liberty.

Thanks for any input or suggestions, I can see a couple workarounds but would prefer to replace with the original gasket, etc.

I would put a bottle of seafoam in the gas tank to help clean your injectors and see if that helps too.

Do you have a 2007 KJ or a 2008 KK model Jeep?
The gasket I linked is for 07 and later with throttle by wire, 06 and earlier with throttle by cable is a different gasket, along with different TB and intake manifold.
