Curious if anyone tried adapting a side mounted fuel can carrier to a KJ. Attaching it to the roof rails or something. It looks like a good alternative to loading up the swing gate.

That looks great. Been thinking of doing something similar to blank the window. Curious, did you use 18 gauge steel?

Appreciate it. I used 1/8 inch steel (11 gauge). It’s what I had laying around because I wanted to make it low low cost. Came out pretty good. Even has a drain line on the inside that run out a tube behind the panel and comes out the rear underneath behind the wheel
