wipers stopped working .disconnected harnes .multi meter when positive lead used shows power
on all wires execpt ground wipers not turned on.

How bout your back wipers and washers? If totally dead, i suspect your multi-function switch is shot. Easy enough to replace, but be careful if you have fog lights. There are 2 different switches available.
