When's the last time you changed your thermostat? If you change it now, make sure you seat the new one in the correct direction otherwise it will completely block flow.

Regarding color of coolant: green is typically the “universal” stuff that claims to be compatible with HOAT coolant but will cause problems. Mopar HOAT is a reddish color and Zerex G05 which is also HOAT is an orangish color. I am reading this thread for the first time now and glad you are flushing out the green stuff.

Just a thought.
You might want to check the cost of having it done at the dealer. My daughters 11 Liberty had the wrong kind added by mistake and I paid $125 at my local dealer, in Ga., that included new coolant. They used a machine to completely flush the system.

I am late to this conversation, but I - quickly - read over the responses and am in agreement with the suggestions put forth. However, I gotta ask a dumb question here…. Which engine is having the overheating problem? Is it either of the gasoline engines or is it the diesel engine?

Also, has anyone discussed the possibility that the radiator and A/C stack may be clogged from the outside? I have seen debris build up in radiator-A/C condenser/CAC stacks before that have caused overheating problems. The fix is to take the stack apart power wash the individual cooling units.

Another thing to consider…. HOW is the engine overheating? Does it overheat simply by slow speed, low load conditions, or does the overheating occur only when the engine is running under higher loads, like high speeds, stop and go traffic in high ambient temperatures or towing?
