Hello

I am new to this forum, ( before I was active in lost jeeps but it seems it went down... ).

I come here to request some advice;

My KK has started with some lights going on in the dash panel. But only when I reverse or I get to a sto sugnal etc. As soon the car starts moving again they go off.

Lights are: SERVICE 4WD, ESP BAS, and the little car with skid marks.

What should I can start checking?

Besides of that, no other issues with this car.

I keep very high maintenance on it.

All the faults are probably from one failed ABS sensor, check all 4 wheels for damage on the ABS sensor cables, failing anything obvious a garage with a decent scanner will be able to read the codes and tell you which one is in fault. Strange that they clear when you are moving, perhaps the sensor is just dieing slowly.

Welcome, Neil. :D

I’m sure you will find some familiar faces from LOST here.

Wheel speed sensor was my first thought as well.

Well, some good news, it was a faulty connection due to contamination ( paint and dirt ), in the transfer motor connector, got it clean, pretty well secured, and all the lights went off.

Also some days ago, I got my hands on some 8.5 inch wide MoMo rims with a 18" inch diameter. Now I am running on 245/60/18 Cooper ATT, this paired with a 2" Rough Country lift kit ( also with the A superior control arms ) and this another completely different car...

It should be manufactured this way since the begginig, a completely new animal.

Nice! Glad you got the ABS gremlins figured out. Post a pic or two of the KK as it sits now. I would love to see those wheels.
