I have a faulty abs control module on my 2006 Jeep Liberty Sport. The part is discontinued but I found a company who can rebuild them. Anyone done this before with success? Anyone have any other ideas?

Did you have a shop scan for stored ABS codes? If so what are the codes?
Just curious, how much to have module re-built?
My 2004 has no abs or traction control. I'm glad I kept it simple.
I'm not sure if this will help however here are some threads regarding the module etc.

Yes, I had a shop look at my Liberty. They traced it to a bad abs module. I found a company who is going to rebuild it for $400. All the abs lights were on my dash and it gave the c1020 code.

Regarding c1020 code it can refer to a bad rear wheel sensor. To check if all of they are apparently good you must check if all of them are sensed with scanner. If not, you must check if the 12 voltage is present in every connector, just to check if the harness is in good order

Do you have the link to the mechanic/shop that rebuilt your ABS Module?

Has anyone replaced theirs? if so, where from and how was it flashed to match the ECM?

What is the shop that did the rebuild of the ABS module? I have a 2010 Jeep liberty which needs the module replaced. I found some online parts stores which will send me a refurbished module. But they won’t reprogram it. The Jeep dealers say they no longer have the tools to reprogram it. So I need, a rebuilt module that is reprogrammed with my Jeep’s VIN.
