Hi Guys,
I sure would love a little advise, I have a 2002 Liberty 3.7 that has a crack in the fuel line post on the tank cover flange above the fuel pump (Part number 5069055AC) , its right where the fuel line attaches and I can't find this part anywhere

Does anyone have any ideas?

That’s a bummer. I am not sure this part comes without a whole new fuel pump attached. But with an 02, your Liberty may need one soon anyway. Replacing the whole unit could save you the hassle of being stranded down the road.

2002-2004 KJs all have that same white cover plate. Do you have local salvage yards? If yes, and the wrecks are off the ground so you can get under them, a pair of side cutters will release the holding straps to drop the tank and enable you to remove the plate. With cut straps and the tank on the ground, its a 10 minute job to carefully pop the plate loose.

Can do exactly what the op did and access it from the trunk space of any junker.

Dealing with the exact same issue with my 2002. Part was stand-only until 2005 when it became part of the fuel pump. Current part is discontinued and no one is currently making aftermarket. I went ahead and used JB Weld and it is no longer leaking. Will continue to hunt for a new one

OEM Flange Package Fuel part # 5069055AC

JB Weld did not hold. Safe to assume any used one will be in similar condition. Replaced both breather hoses and car started right up but poor idle. A little worried that the missing breather hoses let in bad air. Any suggestions?

I had to go to an auto wrecker to find one nowhere else had it. It was the same post on mine that broke, hope you find one.
