My 07 Sport is flashing “GASCAP” in the little window on my dash where the milage is usually displayed. Pushing the reset wand next to it clears it up but it must be reset every time it is started or placed in park. I have place a new MOPAR cap on it and reset the codes on the computer and it still gives me that “GASCAP” indicator. Other than some occasional misfires, that new plugs and a new engine/Tran harness has completely resolved (yes I found a factory harness still in its packaging a couple years ago), it gives me no grief. Runs fine with no other discernible issues. Any thoughts out there??? Thank you!

Check the tubing connected to the solenoid under the hood. Mine had a hole worn through the lower one where it passes close to the battery.
