I am happy to report that everything continues to work properly. I did not overlook anything or accidentally damage anything related or otherwise. I don't see any indication of leaking gear oil around the differential cover or from the new bearing seals, though a proper inspection would require removing the rotors.

As our Liberty is getting driven, I am making a conscious effort to exercise the parking brake every time. I have noticed the parking brake lever has been creeping higher to fully engage the parking brake. If it continues, I may have to get under the vehicle and adjust them a bit tighter.

Nice job. I had the same problem last month. I decided to go with a junkyard backing plate, since the local pik-n-pull had a suitable donor.
I was kind of worried about pulling the axle, but it really didn't take that long.

Just reporting in that after 3.5 years, everything continues to operate as designed with no issues surfacing or returning. All is well.

I see that our Jeep gets more undocumented miles from being towed behind our motorhome than it does with actual driving it. The odometer today, 3.5 years later, has only 95,000 miles, just 8000 more than 3.5 years ago when I did the parking brake restoration at 87,000 miles. My wife needs to drive her Liberty around town a lot more.
