Hi Everyone,

I am New here, I bought a 2003 CRD renegade originally from Poland. its a KJ or Liberty CRD 2.8 TD depending on where you are from.

Recently after a long drive I noticed the temp getting up to 3/4, this seemed strange, I dropped it to my mechanic to get the aircon fixed (separate issue).

I mentioned the temp issue, he called me back and sent a video of what looks like parts that have been removed from the cooling system and blocked off on the thermostat housing.

I'm assuming this has been done as the CRD was never sold in Argentina and parts scarce so someone has got creative, I want to rectify the missing parts.

Does anyone know where I can get a full workshop manual to try to work out what parts are missing, any help gratefully received.

Thanks for the manual link, after comparing against the manual. It looks like just one pipe has been blocked.
We think this was done to make it run hotter.
Blockage now removed and back to standard, got a hour drive over the weekend let’s see how it runs.

The other thing that makes them run hot is a faulty viscous fan coupling, the fan rotates all the time but doesn't move much air until the coupling locks up, if the coupling doesn't lock then the cooling affect is minimal.
