My 2007 Cherokee KJ's passenger front seat belt buckle does not stay clicked in if not under tension. It will click into place, but if you just sit there for a few seconds with it on your lap as usual it will just pop back out, but if pulled tight it will stay in place inside the buckle. The seat belt buckle is cracked down the middle of the red bit, so I am imagining it just needs the buckle replaced, as the belt itself is in good condition still.

Stuck for parts in Western Australia as Jeeps are not popular enough to be abundant at scrap yards, and trying to avoid spending a lot of $$ on sending over a part from the states. Are any aftermarket brands you find online safe enough to use or compatible?

Sorry I didn't know about after market stuff, you might find the spring in the latch has broken.
