hey everyone i recently bought this Jeep Liberty 2007 automatic v6 its was working but then it ran into a bunch of lights it has 180k miles on it with the abs, Brake, Airbag, engine and oil lights on. So far its running great with no issues however i would prefer to fix it as my family dosent think its safe until i do so. The only codes im pulling with my obdII scanner are u1110 and u120. I bought a replacement abs pump and computer assuming that was my issue but the codes are still showing. Im hoping to fix it during this thanksgiving weekend.

I'd guess low voltage from a fading battery.
Try a different battery and see if that improves things, check the alternator output too. If that doesn't help then look for a bad earth somewhere, probably connected to the BCM.

What codes do you get in the odometer space when you flick the ignition 3 times?

Battery is good but ill get a new one to test tomorrow the alternator outputs 36 volts which im assuming is to standard as far as grounds go j have to do a lil more research

Do this. Google the Pxxx codes that show up.

Imo - the answer to most of your issues lies here. These jeeps are notorious for wiring / ground issues.

What are we looking at, where you are showing the ripped off ground point? It might help determine where to point you to resolve - In the meantime, hook a jumper cable from ground on battery to a point on the engine block. See if your codes go away. Also, try a jumper from ground on the battery to a ground point on the body. Same question - do any of your codes / lights go away?

Did a google search and all seems to point to a wheel speed sensor or the speedo sensor on the rear differential (assuming it is still there in 2006 models- IDK offhand). The wiring for that sensor is notorious for failing as it flexes with every movement up/down of the differential.

Hello DanDan, we have a 2007 Jeep Liberty 3.7 L auto with 347,000 km (Canada). Several years ago we had dash lights on and the problem went away when we found a broken wire to a wheel speed sensor. Then just a few months ago, we had engine light and several other dash lights AND also both tach and speedometer froze up. We could still drive it but had to guess speed. Then suddenly both gages worked and the lights went away. The same thing happened one or two more times, but now for at least two months there are no dash lights and the tach and speedometer work perfect. No idea why but it seems to have self-fixed.
