Looks like my rear end on my 2 wheel drive 2002 liberty needs a few things, and the amount in work and in parts it needs would be cheaper, and easier, I think, to swap in my 2002 4 wheel drive rear end with disck brakes, instead of doing on the work on the drum brake rear end.

My first thought was the ABS and that swap, could be different gear ratio, which I doubt matters going into the 2wheel drive car,

has anyone swapped rearends like this or know if any obvious problems?

Assuming they are both v6's, they should both have 3.73 gears.

Some will say you need to change the proportioning valve since youre going from drum to disc brakes...

Shoots, the disc brake jeep is a 2005. and the ABS layout looks completely different than the drum 2002. Gonna have to fix my rear end instead I think.
