Hello! So i had my battery die on me in July and I replaced it, along with the starter because it was also done with it itself. Some time in October, my car started having issues turning on again. I can drive for 30 or more minutes, then turn it off once, then turn it on again, but once I do it a third time it will not turn on. It cranks like crazy but i need to wait 20 to 30 minutes for it to cool down in order for it to turn on again. I usually drive during the weekends to run errands so I turn it on and off as I go to multiple spots. Not sure what it is...i also noticed it makes a light tap sound in the engine while I drive but it's not a constant thing (maybe every 30 Min a tap or 2). I do have an oil pan leaking very lightly so I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it. I started using engine injectors when I gas up to see if it needs cleaning in case it's the gas pump but not sure. Anyone have insights ): ?

It won't show up a fault because the ECU can't see the engine is turning because the sensor is faulty so no light or fault codes.

I had this issue a couple months ago. After multiple starts the jeep would just crank but not start. I tested the fuel pressure after I was able to replicate it at a shop and found the fuel pump to not be making enough pressure to start the engine. Replaced it and haven't had a problem with it since. If the crank shaft sensor doesn't solve the issue I would try that next.
