Jeep was showing throttle body position sensor I did the reset with unhooking battery and the gas pedal I didn't do it the proper way Jeep Liberty will not start could the Jeep have went into limp mode

Yes sir I believe everything is right could this have happened when I did the reset with pedal wrong it put My Jeep into limp mode and if this is possible how do I bring it out of limp mode Ty for your relpys I really appreciate it I have a little over two grand in it thus far

Yeah, I'm not sure what you are talking about the gas pedal. That has nothing to do with getting codes from the Jeep.

I'm taking about the reset of the throttle position sensor you do this by unhooking the battery for five mins then you turn the key to the opposition then you press the gas pedal slow down four seconds three seconds on the floor then three seconds then slowly up on the pedal four seconds and then you repeat the steps three times then you take the key out of the engine then start the vehicle this has a lot to do with the codes on the scanner if you do it wrong and it calibrates it wrong it's going to throw off the sencer because it's not functioning the way it should be hope This helps you understand what I'm talking about Ty for your response

Thanks, I never heard of that. Thought you were talking bout switching the key on and off 3 times to get codes and unhooking the battery and hooking the battery cables together to reset putter.

The jeep is not in limp mode. They will run in limp mode. Just not very well. The computer limits what the jeep will be able to do in limp status, but you sure should be able to start it.
