Hey Jeepers, so purchased my 05 Liberty 3.7 last month. When I went to test drive everything was good no lights on etc. Well next day engine light popped on , since it's a as is purchase not much I can do. Well got codes read and it's misfiring ok got ignition coils, spark plugs , oil changed. Well it overheated on me so got thermostat replaced and flushed radiator. Temp stayed on half but noticed it hesitation to start and I'm getting smoke from back end. No visible leakage but I searched and I found something that said check oil cap, well this is what I found. Can someone please help with my next move?

I would agree with seafish. Coolant is probably getting into the system making your oil very creamy. Depending on your current mileage your in for a head gasket change. If the heads are cracked, they will need to be replaced as well. Do you have a local junkyard? That's where I got many of my parts from and took them to a machine shop before installing.
Good luck!
