Spare Mounted Bike Rack
I have the Thule carrier that mounts over the spare. I believe I bought it online for around $150 a year or two ago. Anyways, works okay for 2 adult bikes. Annoying oil leak / smoke....
In my case, the issue was 100% the passenger side valve gasket. Oil was dripping down onto the o2 sensor area. After replacing it and washing down the area (if you don't you still may get some residual smoke for a short period of time), everything was back to normal. I didn't bother changing...- TypeRx

Coolant drips into cylinder head
When I had a lot of difficulty getting the valve cover out, I unclamped one of the core coolant hoses near the firewall to try and get a bit more space. I wasn't execting the surge of coolant :) In any case, some pooled in the bottom of cylinder head, but I was able to dry it with a shop...- TypeRx

Which breather hose? They all came off very easily. The only hose that was clamped that I removed was to the coolant overflow tank. If there are no clamps and the hose simply seems "seized" on, you could always try and slip a small flathead screwdriver in and try and work it around the...- TypeRx
