So I'm going to hit 10k either this or next week...
Bad Transmission.... Is this something I have to look forward to? So far I have been very pleased with this Jeep. The only thing I did have happen (Which I did see a post on) is at about 500 miles I am driving down the road, the engine started to run bad..complete loss of power(No check engine...- dalefranzen

2006 KJ CRD..... Man, I don't know about you, but I LOVE my CRD. We just took a trip to Whitefish Montana from Spokane Washingtion (250 miles of all mountain driving). I had this thing loaded to to the gills: 4 sets of skis, all the gear that goes with that 4 set of skis, 2 adults and 2...- dalefranzen

Service Manual... I have a 2006 CRD and have all the books. Are you looking for the '2006 Maintenace Logbook" with either schedule A or B? Or are you looking for the Owners manual? Just want to be sure before I start to image one of the books.- dalefranzen

What did you sell or trade to get your KJ?
I traded my 3.7 for a CRD!! Boy what a trade that was. I am absolutely sure that I ended up on the better side of that deal. Not quite a 1000 miles, took a short 2 hour trip and got 25.5 MPG. Can you say "Woo Hoo"!!- dalefranzen

Dr. Z Promoting CRD
It's a crying shame about the CRD's. I just bought a new 06 CRD and just love it to death. With 400 miles on it I realize 19 MPG in town. That is a far cry from 14 (Never saw more than 19 with a tail wind, going down hil and on the freeway!!) in my old 02 3.7 Liberty. I live in Washington...- dalefranzen
