My 2003 KJ 2.8 CRD and its problems

No it's not I'm afraid, there was an independent garage with one but they finished in Covid. There are after market systems but they aren't cheap! I have a friend with a decent Snapon scanner that does just about everything, so a decent garage should be able to help you.

Have you tried using a little bit of starting fluid? It would be interesting to see if it fires.

Redid brake system but left with a problem

If the brakes are soft then you still have air in the system, possibly trapped in the ABS unit if you have drawn air through there. Did you open the bleed screws when you pushed the caliper pistons back? If not you risk blowing muck back into the ABS unit. I would suggest bleeding the system...

With the engine not running? No mine is silent, on shutdown there is a hiss/buzz from the solenoid on the left side dumping vacuum.

    Liberty 2008????

Without looking at it it's impossible to say if it's safe, was the work on the front done recently? If so take it back. Jack the front up and hold the wheel at 3 and 9 o'clock, rock it side to side, repeat with your hands at 12 and 6 o'clock, look for anything loose, especially the bottom ball...

    Mysterious coolant leak....????

Sounds like something shrinking in the cold, I would remove the sump guard and have a good look for any dried coolant, if nothing is visible wrap rag around the joints and pump so you can see where it's coming from in the morning.

2003 CRD cooling system parts missing ?

The other thing that makes them run hot is a faulty viscous fan coupling, the fan rotates all the time but doesn't move much air until the coupling locks up, if the coupling doesn't lock then the cooling affect is minimal.

Seized upper control arm bolt. Attempt to remove it myself, or admit defeat and take it to a garage?

I've got a makita recip saw, with a decent blade it's nearly as quick as an angle grinder but way less messy, I cut an old axle up with it the other day, took minutes to make it into 3 slightly less back breaking bits to dump in the metal skip. I use Lenox blades, handy for ripping pallets too...

    TPMS Bypass

I have just ordered a TPMS bypass box for my wife's Renegade, not very useful for our old KJ's, however it could be very useful for all our second and third cars! The guy custom builds them so he can cover virtually any car, if he is as good as his word then I'll be very pleased. I'm awaiting...

Auto transmission stuck on low gear

Low gears 1&2 are limp home mode with the transmission in non electronic control mode, however if its only selecting 1 then you may have an issue with the transmission. If it can't see the speed or the speed is implausible the TCM drops into limp mode. As the fault happened after you changed...

PCM PROBLEM CODE, SENT TO FIX, SAID NOTHING WRONG

If there is enough space to get the screw clip on then I wouldn't worry, unless you have an air leak it's only cosmetic. Ebay is full of Jeep being broken for parts so a second hand one would be a quick fix.

2004 Jeep kj 2.8 crd EGR Removal

There are 2 different systems, the earlier Jeeps with a waste gate controlled turbo and the later jeeps with a VNT. I haven't worked on the later system, both of mine are the earlier type. The 2 hoses on the solenoid are a supply from the vacuum pump and a vacuum line to the EGR valve, the...

Seized upper control arm bolt. Attempt to remove it myself, or admit defeat and take it to a garage?

If you can get in with it an impact driver is probably the best thing + lots of plus gas or similar.
