Lockers or not
You may already have trac loc from the factory in the rear end. Check your VIN on one of those sites that tell you your factory package when it was built. Mine has a Trac loc. Not the best, but it's a start.- Big Al

Differential question - Pinion Bearings Replace or Not??
Also if you reuse the ring gear, you don't need to re shim the pinion. There should be a positive or negative number on the pinion gear face, That's probably the clearance the factory got when they used a gauge block to get the proper clearance for the tooth mesh on your gear set. I'd phone around to a few local machine shops and see if they have a LH tap for you to borrow or get them to chase them threads while you wait. Rear diff input seal
If i was replacing just the seal, I'd mark the nut exactly where you found it. Say use a pin punch on the 2 surfaces. Then replace the seal and then tighten it up exactly where you found it. Then with a 1/4" torque wrench to measure the pinion tapered bearing preload. You crank down on the...- Big Al

Transfer Case Fluid Plugs
I put a couple of these 1/2 npt pipe thread Bulls eyes on the front diff and the transfer case for the fill plug. Yet another cooling system thread
Has anyone done this big time flush before. Kind of thinking a few bottles of simple green and a few fill ups completely to remove the degreaser. Run it around the block for 30 minutes minutes. How about the prestone flushing fluid. Not sure if it is compatible with the HOAT fluid.- Big Al
