ya but good luck finding the transmission skid for 02-07; it's nearly $500 and there's only one option that I've found. I did lots of research before I decided to build mine.
haha 'fixed'
as in manufacturer defect
so the provent quits blowing oil, the egr delete quits blowing soot, and thus it eliminates all of the black goo in the intake, correct?
I've got the same issue only its #4 that out. ID parts has a kit with 4 5v steel plugs and the wiring harness, on sale right now for $119.99. I live in Oklahoma where its rarely that cold; if it is, I just use the block heater. Should I buy this kit?
how much difference does it actually make? for example Its been sludging up the cac/intercooler for 127k; if i change it now, will it actually make a difference going forward? power, efficiency, etc.?
What's the difference in the seats? I have an 05 limited, and the drivers seat left thigh bolster is cracking, but the rest of the seats are perfect. are there any good aftermarket seats out there? how about good seat covers that actually stay in place and are comfortable and are actually made...
I finished building my own skid plate a few months ago; cost me about $100 or less in parts, assuming that you have a cutoff wheel and a welder to build it with.
Hey all! been a while since I've posted, but I got logged out and couldn't find a way to get logged back in. With that cared for, old girl has got some work done. New front ball joints, upper control arms, and front hubs with wheel speed sensors all from Mevotech. I debated about getting the JBA...
Alrighty, skid plate is finished! The ground clearance on my liberty is 10" at the front of the plate and 12" in the back. I'm going to do some more drilling on it for drainage and I might eventually coat it or something. I tested it with the floor jack, raised the body about 3" without hitting...
Thanks! I'll do that and see how it works.
I've already planned a good bit of reinforcement for the plate, which I started today; I'm hoping to finish it up tomorrow and I'll post final pictures for y'all. I don't really plan to high-center my kj in a rock garden, but I'm dead sure not going to...
The skid plate is 1/8" or 11 gauge steel; I'm also using 1/8" thick 1"x1" angle iron for reinforcement, just haven't gotten that far yet. I'll weld it up this week and I'll take more detailed pictures with it off. I'll also try to upload the template that I made so that ya'll can do it to:)
I just changed out my PCV/CCV valve, the old one was leaking. Also adjusted the clevis position, does this look right? Also, this is the transmission skid plate mounted underneath the Liberty. Big surprise, I'm sitting at 21.75" at all for corners. Now the big question: Is that enough to run...
