    2010 KK po175 and cyl2 misfire

Let’s jump back to your plugs. Did you use the stock NGK or something else? Second, go over that wiring extremely carefully. This jeep is 15 years old and they are wrought with electrical gremlins. Especially the older ones - KJ;s

    A/C has me stumped

I know it is disappointing to find that , but i think you now have the answer - question - was the shavings on the condensor side of the tube or the evap side? I am thinking condensor - which then totally supports your probllem .. low refrigerant flow and restricted condensor. Damn fine job...

2.8 CRD Cherokee KJ overheating when A/c on

John - HOAT is a technology in anti-freeze chemistry. Here across the pond, we see it at the dealer and also as Xerex-G05 coolant. Xerex being a brand name. THere is a special anti-corrosive additive in it to deal with the iron and aluminum components. Using the wrong coolant or mixing...

NEW AC components, How much PAG oil goes in each?

Howdy! Best practice is to measure what runs out of what you are replacing. The total oil charge on KJ (02-07) is 8 ounces. There is oil all thru the system and what you put into each component does not stay there. It travels with the refrigerant. Old rule of thumb is 2 ounces per evap...

    A/C has me stumped

So - 12 ounce cans - 2x12=24, your charge should be 26. A little undercharged? Or u got the new can and valves that let a partial can to be used. So i just visited my 06 kj. What is the chance that your orifice tube line is installed backward? What is the chance that an extra orifice tube...

2006 Jeep Liberty (42RLE) 3.7V (gasoline): Reverse not working

I totally did not think about the shift cable. It might tie in nicely with the ‘can’t move the jeep in Neutral.

    Rear upper control arm.

Usually it is the rear upper control arm. Ball joint first suspect, bushings second suspect. My 04 had a new upper sometime ago and i was driving her home from Baltimore and we were all over the road on throttle changes - gas on, sway right, gas off, sway left. Turns out it was the lower...

    A/C has me stumped

Just wondering - when you recharged - 12 ounce cans again? Are you weighing the charge to the specified 26 ounces? Is the oil correct? Takes total 8 ounces of PAG 46 - The wrong oil / excess oil might affect what you are seeing. Those systems are touchy with too much oil. I think the old...

    A/C has me stumped

Jump out the low pressure switch. I dont see where this is a computer issue. If you get decent cooling - low on charge. I am guessing that the system did not have enough time on the vacuum pump to evacuate and pull out xs moisture. If no difference, i dunno. These are not rocket science...

2010 liberty ltd sport 4WD, no start just got

The schrader you are showing is on the fuel rail. That is the access port to check the fuel pressure. Without a gage, you are limited to your eyes and ears. Key on - you should hear the FP (fuel pump) run and pressurize the line - a short buzzing noise about 1-3 seconds long. At that point...

    A/C has me stumped

Need more that just hi side. Since you are versed in tractors - i guess this is over simple but: At engine off, not running - lo and hi should equalize and in the case of 134, read about ambient values - so 70F would show 70 on hi and lo side. When the ac is running, lo side is the suction...

    A/C has me stumped

Was there a compressor failure in which crap could lodge in evap or condensor? It was initially sounding like a slogged receiver (oil over saturated) but I am thinking your post says that you replaced that along with the line.

    Overflow tube dripping

    - no experience there. I saw and was hoping someone had done that. Would have been cool to do it whilst you had the condenser out and torn down that far.
