The line would not leak into the box. It would all be in the engine compartment. Follow the lines back to the big silver accumulator (drier) - there are some orings that need replaced each time you crack the line open.
So - if you have a 'blacklight' (cheap-o harbor freight will do) - in...

From jeepforum.
I think you want the reverse lamp wire, not the brake light.
The diagram is pretty handy!
Likely a - slow - leak. Takes my 04 about 4 days for the pressure to drop off to the point the compressor will not kick in. Best of luck! Search on here for the how to - there are also a few good you tubes to get it done. Biggest take away - lots of pictures as you go. And you do NOT have...

The curved tube is the evaporator / heater box drain -
It is normal for ‘condensate’ to be dripping from there when the AC is running, or after the jeep is switched off. Note - I saw up thread where you put dye into the system. What you are seeing MAY...

See the above for a description of how ASD works on an XJ. The logic is similar to KJ/KK.
Look at the whole tread - just not that post.
Interesting to note about where the different parts of the circuit power from -...
To rid yourself of the skim, the pcm needs flashed AND the skim module needs unplugged before install of the flashed PCM
I am not sure how the charging issue leads to the skim module.
Usually the charge rate is controlled by the pcm. On most of these vehicles, there is a battery temperature...
3 ideas ( because I can not remember how to spell ‘thoughts’ )
1- marginal battery.
2- bad engine/body grounds
3- green crusties in the common harness that connects all this on top of the engine.
Remember, these are OLD machines. Wiring is always suspect and needs to be examined carefully...
Moog says : es3535 tie rod end:
14.0 x 1.5mm pitch is the stud and nut size
I figure most are the same.
For my money, I’d go to the auto parts store and get a castle nut and cotter pin. That is what both of my kj have. Thread the castle nut on, torque to spec, turn until you can see the...

Why bypass the SKIM?
Give some details and let’s see if we can work this til @Billwill gets a chance to chime in.
BTW - as far as i know, your 03 might not have a skim module. My 04 does not, but the 06 does.
Easy way to tell is looking at the keystyle - old round head keys...
Your best bet is to visit a nearby pull-a-part / salvage yard. These switches from the dealer are nearly impossible to get. I have one here somewhere that i pulled the last time I was there. There might be a replacement available from electronics parts suppliers.
Newer rockers have smaller holes. Maintains better oil pressure/lubrication for the rest of the engine.
I changed to newer rockers on my 04 and no issues. Btw - the snooty kids call them ‘lash adjusters’
How bout your back wipers and washers? If totally dead, i suspect your multi-function switch is shot. Easy enough to replace, but be careful if you have fog lights. There are 2 different switches available.
Makes better sense now. I would go over every ground connection you can find. If you have a pair of jumper cables, attach 1 to the engine and 1 to the negative terminal on the battery. Sometimes those thick cables can look good on the outside and be green and crusty inside. See what that...
first off - crank and turn over are the same thing.
you can have - no crank - no start - dead batt - dead starter - broken ignition actuator pin (this is not you BTW, as your engine does attempt to start)
crank (turn over) - no start (does not run) - we are here right now.
cranks and then...
