Converting from electronic to clutch fan
To complicate your search, as I've previously swapped in a heavy duty electric fan along with a mechanical fan with a clutch... If you don't already have one, you'll need a bigger shroud for the mechanical fan and it's recommended you change the water pump at the same time you do the install...- Dave_too

Minimal/No Lift Suspension Upgrade
My experience with my 07 Liberty and OME is: JBA 4.5 UCAs with OME 2927 front shocks and 9009 springs resulting in FD 20 1/4" and FP 20" - a one inch lift in the front. I don't know that the JBA UCAs were really necessary. I suspect they may make alignment easier as I've had no issues with...- Dave_too

HOW TO: Bump Stops - Front & Rear Replacement
Tom's advice is well-worth listening to. I had the Crowns in for about a year before I replaced them with Terraflex. No excess wear in that short amount of time with them, though I'm glad to be rid of them. -

About a year ago and there were feral cats all over the compound I was living on. They're good with the baby mambas (no joke in the rainy season) and can dispatch them with relative ease. My dog loved to chase the cats around the yard but she's a dachshund mix and they were all way too quick...- Dave_too

Iron Rock Rear A-arm
Don't know why you couldn't clean the anti-seize with some kind of solvent and revisit it. One thing we learned the hard way was don't get distracted when you're using the loctite. It doesn't take more than 10 minutes before it starts to set and if things aren't just where you want them...- Dave_too

Iron Rock Rear A-arm
Took the previously already replaced A-Arm off. The bracket literally was twisted to one side and the joints completely shot. Might as well burn your cash if you're going to buy some other cheap junk. Not at all so with this. Difference in the ride immediately apparent. No clunking and the...- Dave_too

Ball Joints/ Control Arms
Wasn't there a recall on the rear lower control arms depending on where your Jeep was from? Might pay to at least look that one up. -

Check engine light
I had this issue with a locking gas cap. Replaced it with OEM non-locking and it went away. Who knows (rhetorically)? The OBD2 readers aren't necessarily expensive.
