    Pulsing brakes

sure - sticking caliper also. eta : Caliper usually has one pad all worn out if it is sticking For me, the easiest 'tell' is : does the brake feel fine when cold? Yes - Maybe rotor, maybe hose, maybe caliper No - definitely rotor if yes: - use an infrared temp scanner, like those gizmo's...

Just to add. You can use a 'noid' kit. I tried one and it worked kinda. Flashed but very quick and dim. Never would have seen in daylight under the hood.

No crank after timing job on 3.7L

sounds as if you have 1 cam 180 degrees out of time with the rest of the engine. don’t force it over with a big wrench. most likely scenario is at least 1 valve is striking a piston. If you are careful, you may not need to tear the heads off. no more starter bumping. disconnect the...

looks ok so far - you took the battery out, so are we hooked to battery thru jumper cables or do you have a charger hooked in for power? - your meter is reading negative, 14.5 ma - not a huge draw. I would start pulling fuses. 1 out - read, 1 in and 2 out read. etc. This should help ya find...

    Fuel pressure regulator kj2006

    - i did not think I had heard of it. Are you sure there is a regulator at the pump? I know there is a fuel level sender and the pump itself. I am thinking the fuel pressure is not regulated at the pump but by the rail and fuel returned. in any hydraulic / fluid mechanics application, a pump...

so - let me ask, because I lost track of where all you have tested - How much draw and how are you measuring that ? With your BCM and PCM unplugged, and still seeing a draw, why are we thinking of spending $200 if they are not affecting the draw / problem? When hooked up to measure the draw...

doubtful. If you go to that much work to pull the pump, why not replace it? With something OEM. Don’t skimp here.

Being as you had issues at the rear o2 sensors, i think i would start there. Rough wiring could be your culprit as you mention. I think the only way forward at this point is to find the wiring diagram and trace each wire from the rear o2 sensor forward. Something akin to the ‘green crusties’...

P0171 "NOT Drivable" - no power/bad smell of gas

Sounds like you are on the right track. Dont get discouraged, but kj's are notorious for electrical gremlins. You can waste a bunch of money chasing codes and swapping stuff. Here is the scoop: These are old rigs. Stuff happens. Often simple stuff that looks like something else. Trims...

    what did I do?

o rings fuel pump check your fuel pressure with a gauge on the rail - usually a schrader valve, like on a tire valve

    AC compressor is noisy

Not that I have had to do this yet but - I would think that trying the 1st pic makes sense. There were several threads here and on lostjeeps that detailed problems with the pulley in the way. For those quick, get me outta the woods, repairs, several noted that they loosened up the compressor...
