06 kj rear brake lights issue
Yes they are twin filament bulbs, so it could well be tat only the higher wattage filament has failed. From memory, the other rear bulbs are too, although only one is used, so swap one gf those for the brake/tail & see what happens. The sockets on KJ's are infamous for getting hot, distorting...- Deb'nKJ

Help! My 03 Jeep Liberty’s battery died and Sepentine belt came off.
I wouldn't expect any main dealer to have any parts for anything over 5 years old, or any interest in or knowledge of, them - unless they have a rip-off "classic" parts program. Help! My 03 Jeep Liberty’s battery died and Sepentine belt came off.
Like he said, all good sound advice. Good luck. Oh, & serpentine belts don't like stuck idler pulleys (the little ones that appear to be just bolted to the front of the engine) so pay particular attention to them.- Deb'nKJ

Poxy parking brake
Never mind the axles, we're only concerned with the brakes & from memory they're not much different, either between KJ & WJ - or anything else with top hat calipers. bolt size interior windshield grab handles

Is a Willys decal wrong
It's no more a Willys than the Mahindras that had the name (word?) pressed into body panels, whatever it is that Jeep (by any other name) have decided to attach the name to (because history/heritage/pedigree/nostalgia sells!) or, for that matter, my XJ that carries Willys Service Dept signs on...- Deb'nKJ

Poxy parking brake
Self-adjusting parking brakes don't work - & never have (except, possibly, on Renaults). They have improved in the last 60 years but not enough to justify them. I understood that the self adjustment mechanism on KJ's is activated by emergency stops in reverse - i.e. something you never do in...- Deb'nKJ

Curiously it's one of the few KJ jobs I've done (3 times: once to replace the one with the bad CJ, then both when I had to replace the diff/axle) which I don't recall being any sort of issue at all, although I thought it pretty stupid that the CVJ won't pass thru' the knuckle.- Deb'nKJ

Rear Wiper Blade Assistance.
Like I said, just because they're listed as fitting, doesn't mean they will. I've recently been through all this with my Suzuki Grand Vitara, because no wiper supplier acknowledges that in 2006 they stuck GV badges on a completely different vehicle & the correct blade is listed only for the...- Deb'nKJ

If I can manage to change an all steel XJ liftgate (with only the help of a pair of steps, a carpet off-cut & a piece of corrugated cardboard) I reckon I could manage but watch Project DanH replace the glass on a WJ for a few hints & tips.- Deb'nKJ
