We don't even have to get anything inspected in Florida on a yearly basis...Do whatever you want...You are not driving an 80's camaro, you got a Jeep that may be a little loud....You will be OK.
I used about 3 coats, but very light..Once I got to the 3rd it was perfect, but the first 2 didn't look all that good.
Got mine at Auto zone....many auto part stores do carry it...The problem is they dont always have it in stock..took me a few trips to finally find it.
I tried old fashion compound last month, didn't do anything and was more work...When I used the meguire's today, it didn't make it all disappear, but it looked 100% better and it is very easy to use.
I just bought Meguire's ultimate compound and used it for after I De-badged this week-end....I gotta say, HJ really knows his detailing stuff. I completed 2 coats and after 8 years of those badges being on ....it got rid of just about everything. A+ for this product
Thanks....You can paint just about anything if you do it right. When you say hub caps, are they actual plastic caps? If so, might as well try it.
Clean
Sand with 320 grit
Use primer specific for plastic
Paint with product specific for plastic
Should be good...Not as easy as it may look...
