This was my second vehicle that I got when i was in high school. It was reliable and I have had mine since 2009. If it only has around 100K miles on it as long as the maintenance was kept up it should run for quite a while longer.
Ok. I take it that there is no where under the plastic bumper that could be used as a building point for something like a custom D-Ring? And I would rather not drag rocks.
So I have been looking to trim up my bumper some more. But to make this look decent when I do it I would have to trim up some of the unibody underneath. I have seen this done, but I am not sure if it should be done. I have posted a pic of what I am thinking of cutting off. I am also going to...
Could some extra square tubing be welded onto say the sides of the hitch and then just strengthened with supports? Or would this be putting too much of a load towards one of the back corners?
So I have the hitch with a d ring in it. The only thing that I worry about with this is the stability of the vehicle if I have both wheels off of the ground.
I should probably clarify that I am trying to make this safe if I ever have to change a tire off road. On pavement I am good to go at...
Well I am trying to get rid of three of them cause one fell off. Wheel weights can effect them and how well they stay on. If there is a wheel weight in the way of one of the clips it will rattle all of the time and become annoying. Not worth it in my opinion.
As much as I would love to get those I am looking for a less expensive way of doing this at the moment. I was thinking something more around that rear bumper area. Thanks though.
I was wondering if anyone could help me solve this problem that I have. I am trying to figure out a way to be able to lift the rear corners of my jeep with a hilift. At the moment I am not looking to add a custom rear metal bumper. My thought is to add two points, one on each side, so that a...
So I am finally going to post a picture of my new lift from last weekend! I am also going to post photos of my old and new suspension so that any one who cares can see why you don't want a daystar spacer lift! I gained an inch and a half with the OME lift from the daystar. Time for pictures...
I did this with mine and moved my spare to the roof rack that I have. It took me a little while to get used to it, but I really like the look. One thing though is you might want to put bolts in those holes if you haven't already. I can't tell from the picture. But those holes are open to the...
I have a set of 5 black steel jeep liberty rims that I am trying to sell. Must pick up. See pictures below for a better look. Rims do not come with tires. I do have all of the center caps for the wheels. I also have three of the chrome wheel covers if someone needs them. I might be willing to...
