I had the same problem with mine after I did my alignment and definitely cranked mine on tight. I think as it moves to the new position and tightened I think its tight but the sub frame may have a raised bit that allows it to not be fully seated, shift and then your noise. In my case it was both...
Add more grease, also check the lower control arm bolts and make sure they are tight. My upper bushings had movement, adding more grease took care of that.
I saw a leather Rubicon (JL)the other week with no LED lights on the front or rear, I was so impressed, it was a work of art.
I'm actually against a lot of LED lights in vehicles (that don't have replaceable bulbs). One LED goes you need to replace the entire assembly. Its such a waste and...
Yeah we have a lot of mountains in BC. I hear the odd subaru rolling around the city with studs in the winter. Not really necessary in this part of the province. Its frustrating when I hear people driving in the summer time with studs....... ******* idiots.
This isn't much help now, but if you've never used studded tires its as close to being glued to the road when on ice as you can get. Worth considering if you have severe winter in your area. A lot of all terrain tires that are winter rated (not all), such as Duratracs, have provisions for studs...
Do 2 cold start test. Immediately start and see if it has trouble. Other test is cycle the key a couple times, allow the fuel pump to prime and see how it starts. Could be the pump is bleeding pressure during long periods of no driving (over night).
Thats actually a good call. If its a Mopar add on, they will have all up to date install info and if a moron ***** it up, way easier to get compensation since its a Mopar add on.
I can do a 20 min drive to the North Shore mounains, but I want armageddon style chaos on the streets. So much fun driving in that... in RWD hehehehe. It also shuts the city down almost completely if we get a good dump here.
I bought mine new. The only one that really cost a lot was the fan blade itself. Everything else I could order for reasonable prices. I did a mix of local parts suppliers and rock auto. Electric fan/shroud I went local since it would be easier to warranty if the electric fan packed it in. Also...
Have been trying to get decent wipers that don't streak for the past 2 months and maybe about 5 different wipers. The last set lasted 3 days before I had enough(too busy at work to change sooner)
I have settled on a set of PIIA wipers, that are silicon and can have new inserts purchased. So far...
Not really its a matter of taking lot's of measurements (depending what you are replacing). If you are reusing say pistons, just got the stock size rings, etc. Bearings you can go stock size if it looks like there isn't any wear on the crank shaft, etc. If you aren't changing things you can...
Only the usual stuff, heads, cams and lifters/rockers. I would likely buy a rebuilt one personally, but it would also depend on if the cylinders are oval-shaped or not for me..... I'm kind of lazy though lol
