    OME 2927 Spring Install

Does anyone have a photo of their 2927 OME spring install? I'm mounting it with some bilsteins and the spring looks pretty tight and wont have much travel. Wondering if this is normal or if I'm just being paranoid. I also bottomed out the nut for the strut (shock). Pic to come.

    Original wheels

While you are correct, every wheel is centered with the lug nuts. Hub centric generally refers to anything with an OE fit where the rim is more or less at the hub. When you get the multi fit tuner rims, that require hub centric rings they are not considered hub centric. The "hub centric" fit...

    BLUE DEVIL INPUT

It was originally developed for the cadillac for their north star engines. long story short the metal was porous and would have coolant leaks. That was their fix for it....

    Anyone near Blaine border crossing?

I'm not sure what the issue was. I think they just didn't want to deal with it personally. It's the first time I've had an issue. It's a pretty popular place for people on Canadian side of the border. Hot topic gave me issues the other week too.

    Quiet AT tires

I had Duratracs on a 2000 Durango and was in a freezing rain storm, I was about 30m away from a semi in front of me (highway), who suddenly decided to jam on their brakes and head into the scale....... I stopped and didnt smash into the trailer, despite initially sliding and going at a safe...

Call your local machine shop, they will likely be able to install valve seats, and valve keeps they can lap the valves too

What did you do to your jeep today?

Are you saving the good components on it? There is still a lot of support for them, might be worth rebuilding or keep for spare parts if not too much damage to it.

    BLUE DEVIL INPUT

I would agree that all stop leaks are terrible and should be destroyed...... however if you are ever in a pinch I would suggest GM coolant pellets (AC Delco Branding). In the shop we have used them in vehicles which are not worth repairing for years and they hold really well (follow...

    YJ Wrangler needs new driveline!

I believe the lever activates it. Kind of a weird design. If the vehicle itself is relatively rust free, he may be able to sell it for a decent price in the south to someone in Northern BC. The YJ's down in the lower mainland still go for 6000 CAD for a cheap one. It may be worth fixing.

    YJ Wrangler needs new driveline!

The local Bass Pro has a very very large sign that says "Welcome Hunters, Fishermen and other liars". They know their audience and we are happy to be there hahaha

    YJ Wrangler needs new driveline!

I would start by pulling the diff cover, or check for a broken vacuum tube/diaphram to the front diff. I believe those YJ have the front diff that are vacuum actuated to engage the front diff with 4x4.

    YJ Wrangler needs new driveline!

What do you mean by lost it's splines? Are you taking about the ring gear or the splines on the axle shafts? Regardless parts should be available with relative ease. The hardest thing will be the U-joints. There can be a number of sizes depending on configuration and year and whatever American...

    No heat

It's also possible your clutch fan has failed "on" if you have one. Shouldn't need to block part of the rad if you have an electric fan. Also water pump with low flow can cause low heat issues. Silly question, is the thermostat installed with the spring facing the engine? I ask because I've had...
