    Shocks/Struts

Too bad both of those links are full of errors. Seems the techs that know the difference are too busy fixing cars. The ones who can't make it in the shop write articles.

    Lift kit options

6speed manual here, which comes with 3.55 gears, and a close ratio tranny. Went from the 235/75r15 all seasons to a 30x9.5 STT which is a lot more aggressive. I used to be able to run up the highways here in 6th at 70mph on up. Used to. Now 6th gear is for looks, or if I'm running 80+. Even...

PCM fix for 5 speed, engine hesitation??

I don't, but you may talk to a repair shop or the dealer about flash updating it.

    Rock Lizard Warning

I noticed today when I was browsing his site, they now take deposits on orders.

What did you do to your jeep today?

Very interesting. I've been running 7-8% LTFT on mine here. I know I have a vacuum loss at the brake booster, just haven't checked to see if it is a check valve, or the booster itself. We headed up to Cripple Creek to see the end of the ice festival. Ran around some of the dirt roads in...

    Freeze plug?

When you did the headgaskets, you did replace the head bolts with brand new ones, and followed the torque to yield procedure to a T, right? Chances are there is a freezeplug in back, but I haven't pulled a trans off a 3.7L/4.7L to be able to say 100%.

    Wheels

Wait till you replace the brake pads if they fit this second. They'll rub most likely whenever you put new pads in. Mine with 4" backspacing barely fit.

    A/C Compressor Operating Temps

Check the coolant level, make sure its at the full mark. Does the engine temp gauge reach the middle mark and stay there moving or staying still?

    Rpm's @50 mph

Honestly, at 50mph, I would click off the overdrive button. Too low of RPMs, will hurt fuel economy as the engine is below the torque band, and puts undo stress on the overdrive clutch pack.

    Rpm's @50 mph

I didn't think the one that got stickied was all that complicated. Gives you some pretty exact numbers. At the bottom with the spreadsheets it gets a bit cluttered but that was all.

    Rpm's @50 mph

Ok based on him having a 45RFE, and 235/70r16 tires and stock gearing, according to the gear calculator sticky'd at the top of this forum section, at 50mph it calculates 1623rpm in fourth gear. 2165rpm in third gear. So mx3, sounds to us if all that info matches, your tranny isn't shifting...

    Rpm's @50 mph

Ok, still need to know what gear, it could be fourth, third, or second and which automatic, or at least the year. I think the two automatics used had different 4th gear ratios. Third gear was the same, 1:1

    A/C Compressor Operating Temps

Some guys in these shops bother me. If you notice it is low on charge, then you tell the service writer, and you see about addressing it then. They shouldn't just put the undercharge back in. The R134A charge is what circulates the lubricant(PAG oil) in the system. Undercharged and...

    A/C Compressor Operating Temps

I would tell them it doesn't work now, if it worked before then it should now. Otherwise, check the basics. Check the resistance of the clutch coil at the connector, check for power to the clutch, etc.

    A/C Compressor Operating Temps

Can't say for certain on the KJ, but as a general rule of thumb, around 25-30psi on the low side will turn off the compressor. Mine normally turns on at 41* though. I would be back and ask them to reverify things. Are you sure they charged it back up?

    2004 liberty lift

I know our compressor grunted when I did mine, but no issues here. Ours has the three fingers on top instead of two like many do. It may be a lil heavier duty.

    2004 liberty lift

Dang, and here I thought it was all me lol. Back to the topic, and tires. I'd stay clear of the BFGs. For the price they are over rated. Most of the tires listed are worth a look at, and I'd mention one more, Cooper STT. These are my opinions, and my opinions alone, and are neither right...
