    Alternator & Serpentine belt replacement.

I've always checked my pulleys by hand after the belt is off. Checking to see how free they spin, are they nice and smooth, any play, etc. If they feel iffy and the funds are there, couldn't hurt to change them for preventative maintenance.

2002/2003 and possible Younger Jeep parts problems...*****WARNING!!!****

edit, I don't know how to interpret the reply lol, but the info seems helpful for those of need of the early power steering pumps. I suppose I should start looking into what parts are harder to get for the year I have, and start collecting!

    Help with Sunroof drains.

The threads I read to get the info to do mine, it had worked for many. I did my sunroof at the same time so I can't be certain that's what stopped my water on the floor, but if you have any areas missing seam sealer it would be good to reseal them to prevent future problems of water intrusion...

    Questions/feedback about buying a 2011-12 Liberty

Howdy. I have a KJ, so I can't help with any specifics, someone can hopefully join in with their KK experiences or you can try searching for KK general problems (or similar terms) to see if anyone has mentioned some things. The no sunroof part is a great start to not have to worry about leaks...

Subwoofer for Cherokee 2.8 CRD Limited KJ

I have a rockford fosgate 8" under the seat / slim woofer and amp. It came installed in the previous truck I bought, suffocated behind the rear seat and withstood 100ºf florida summers. Worked so well I pulled it out before selling the truck, and will be putting it in my liberty. As johnny o...

    Front drive shaft

Not to hijack the thread, but that's my plan when its time to go back in for mine. I believe there's a tear on the rear boot of mine, so it at least needs that. If they are in great shape and not need of a rebuild, I'm guessing its still worth inspecting/cleaning and repacking with some new moly?

    Front drive shaft

I don't know of any covers, but I've been going a year without mine and that will be the plan for me to clean it up with some brake clean like jeepop said. Avoid putting grease or anything that would attract allow things to cling to them.

    Rusted rocker recommendations

A shop I worked in had a millermatic 250, great machine as expected. Over the years at home I've owned some 120v machines: lincoln 140, hobart 140, miller 140. All great machines all bought 2nd hand for a good price, sold one to buy the next one or make some $ after the projects were done...

Help with oil catch can installment

I know they are very popular for early model ls1 gm engines, I did on both of those cars I had in the past, it caught about 4 oz. every oil change. As those engines were notorious right from the factory gumming up the tb and intake, it's the only vehicle I've run catch cans on so far. As others...

    Rusted rocker recommendations

I feel like it's more time consuming than anything, it was one of the starting tasks I did when working in collision repair. I think it depends how much OP is comfortable with. I'm sure there's some yt vids showing some of the process to get an idea if it would be too much to tackle.

    Rusted rocker recommendations

Mig would be easiest to learn, and a great project to get introduced. Unibody panels are so thin you are only welding small moments. Plus if rocker covers can fit, you don't have to worry about how it looks.

    Disabling bad front diff

I know some wheel bearings can separate, but my passenger is oem, drivers is china something, and both are holding up 13 months so far without axles in them. Didn't plan to go this long before getting it back together, but you know how that sometimes goes. I'm glad mine has held up, and I read...

looking for advice on buying a 2005 liberty

From when I was searching about the nsg370, the shifter seemed to fix a good portion of peoples problems with popping out of first gear, but not all. So that's something to keep in mind when you make an offer, it may not fix the problem on yours. The other complaint some had, is it made it very...

What did you do to your jeep today?

Yes, this here. I wish fl would bring inspections back, it would be tough if I wanted another sports car in the future, but it would get so many junkers off of the roads. That will be the primary use for my skid plates down here too, road debris armor haha.

What did you do to your jeep today?

Tough part for me is how its alternating wheels, makes the things I can think of less likely to be bad on both sides, but with todays parts quality control ya never know. It sounds like you have new parts in place, but still may not hurt just to check if they are all working smoothly if nothing...

    The BatCar

Bummer for sure, that was a great deal. But if refunded, at least all that is lost is disappointment! I bought some jba uppers (retail) beings they are in stock, but have yet to install. I didn't want to have to wait if they were out of stock when I finally get the rest of all my parts together. :D

    Jeep kj oil leak/10.5 mpg?

Seems like a bunch of small problems to chase and you'll hopefully have it back up and running in reasonable shape. As far as mpg's, they'll at least be a few more than the 10 you're getting once its running better. You said the plugs haven't been changed in a couple years, after taking care of...

What did you do to your jeep today?

Clearable codes I'm fine with  That's rough still chasing the wheel speed sensors, and they are getting chewed up. After 7 of them of different brands, I'd say you could start looking at the hub as being defective? Can you take a measuring caliper to the depth of the tone ring, and...

2006 KJ - ABS, Traction Control, ESP/BAS, Brake Light

I haven't had this problem with my kj yet, but other vehicles with the brake light like that was in the brake pedal switch contact. Either a bumper pad rotted away never making contact with the switch, or issues with the switch itself depending how it's designed. Usually when the pad...

What did you do to your jeep today?

I see you have a 07 as well, I take it I'll be able to do this to my 07 when I'm ready and not have to worry about any CEL's after? I don't want to upset all these extra electrical pixies! ;)
