What rear springs for 3in lift?

Yes, stock new ones. Cut the top bit of pigtail off to fit. Gave about 3" initially and sagged to 2", then i added the durango load assist shocks.

    Poxy parking brake

These drum-in-hat parking brakes are pathetic. Doesnt matter is its a liberty, or a dodge/ford/gm pickup. I dont rely on it; pack a wheel chock, or plumb in a hydraulic lock. $ucks for you guys with inspections.

    possible traction control issue

The 04 I have for parts has ABS (must be front only?) because it only has the one sensor on the rear diff; one at each front wheel though. Maybe the 06-07 can derive a speedo signal so long as any one of the wheel sensors is working.

    possible traction control issue

Our 05 just has the plain speed sensor in the diff pumpkin. Factory non-ABS. For 06-07, I didnt know if they use 2 sensors or 3 on the rear end.

    possible traction control issue

I would hope that 'nanny' controls like this can be crippled by pulling a fuse or two. Do the rear ABS sensors provide the speedo input? Or does it still have the speed sensor in the diff pumpkin for that?

    Clutch replacement 05 3.7 6 spd

I have taken them out separately on 2-3 occasions now. If you have trouble getting tools on the top bolts, separate the trans crossmember from the frame and pivot the whole drivetrain down an inch. Once you have those free, bolt the crossmember back, remove the tcase, then carry on. Be sure to...

    Engine needed ....

I'm a 10min walk from the Pacific. Everything on the Atlantic is 'out east' to me. :p

    Engine needed ....

Southwest BC, Canada actually. A v6 jeep that isnt a Wrangler is just another chrysler econobox. Folks nearly walk away once the engine or transmission gives up on a 15yo vehicle.

    Engine needed ....

I would spend the effort and time, because the actual parts outlay cost isn't that bad. I say that relative confidence as i just got through a cylinder head change on ours. The head came from a $500 parts KJ I picked up (blown head gasket).

    Engine needed ....

Most of these engines experience cylinder head problems before the bottom ends. I would think a good shortblock wouldn't be too difficult to find, and have your heads swapped over. I think there are some engine revisions over the years that could make for headaches. I believe you want to keep...

    Sourcing lift kit/components in Canada

    Stock Exhaust Length

My 04 and 05 were not. I ran a flowmaster copy for a while, until it rusted out. Now I'm onto a generic stainless-steel one from rockauto (straight through type). Both were shorter than stock, so I had to extend the pipe.

Special Fuel Rail tool for 3.7L v6, 2002-2012

I thought ot was a metal clip that popped off rather easy? Like the injectors? Anyway, I just lifted the fuel rail and swung it completely out of the way with the hose attached. Was only working on the passenger side head.

    What first?

I put a shackle 'dongle' in the trailer hitch for that. https://www.amazon.ca/MaxxHaul-70250-Receiver-Shackle-Recovery/dp/B078WWZSXR

    What first?

I did lift and front locker early on. Already had the factory trac-lock rear. Very capable. Got skid plates off a parts Liberty - still have not installed. No winch. Locker had to come out though, as the np242 swap (for AWD) didn't cooperate well. Will go to a True-Trac when i go into the diff...

Asking those who have done their own paint job at home

As my vehicles age, I turn to satin/semi-gloss black (rattlecan) to hide rougher parts. Then I often keep the theme going for style, symmetry, etc.

Does anyone have info on compatible suspension swaps?

Im using 4runner coils back there for some lift. (97-01?). Cut the first small loop off the end. They are on the soft side though. Edit: 99-04 grand cherokee has a similar rear boomerang upper arm. Might be useful for an axle swap.
