    Finally lifting.

I took them to my local Ford dealer. I figured if they can handle super duties, springs for a Liberty shouldn't be too much trouble. I will say that after seeing the spring it's hard to believe that these are going to make the jeep ride better.

    Finally lifting.

I am friends with a few guys at my tireman, they take good care of me. Just don't have a beefy enough spring compressor :) Their machine broke. Apparently they don't do it anymore.

    Finally lifting.

My dude at TireMan can't compress the spring enough to get the strut mount bolted :/

    Finally lifting.

Thanks. I updated my first post with everything I've ordered so far. Is 3 nuts still okay if im just using the factory upper a arms?

    Finally lifting.

Okay, last few questions... I dont want to have to deal with dismantling the old strut assembly at all. What parts do I need so I dont have to do that? Strut mount obviously, with upper isolater. Was thinking about Monroe for this (decent price on RockAuto). I think I will need the lower...

    Finally lifting.

I have yet to step foot in there. I've called a few times and got the impression that liberty's weren't high on their list of things to be an expert of. I do however frequent big truck and auto next door. Close friend of mine works there.

is this something you did? Looks like I posted the same part number you wound up getting.

    Finally lifting.

I'm not finding the same part numbers you had listed on your build thread, pertaining to the shocks and struts at least. Front Bilstein 24-139168 Shock Absorber for Dodge Nitro Rear Bilstein 24-185660 Rear Shock for Jeep Wrangler YJ They look to be the replacements for an older part...

    Finally lifting.

Will do, thanks for the info! When you guys measure do you go center of hub to bottom of fender? or ground to fender? Also, why the HD springs? I MAY wind up with a bull bar but will not ever have a full bumper/winch. Just a site I ran into, liked how you could order the packages. Should I be...

    Finally lifting.

Hey guys. I think im ready to pull the trigger on a lift set up for my liberty. Leaning towards the OME set up from rocky road with the gr2 front struts. my number 1 concern is ride quality. I spend a ton of time in this thing and thats the main reason im lifting. I will take it offroading...

    Rattle from underbody??

Guys, I have wracked my brain on this for months now. Imagine hearing a soda can spinning at high speed with four or five tabs jingling around in it. That sounds coming from the floor of my liberty. You can't hear it when its cold and when its raining it get really aggressive. I replaced the...

    Turn/Rear defrost fuse keeps popping

any prayer that replacing the rear defogger relay would solve my issue? Only other thing I see attached to the circuit before the actual defogger is the hazard switch.

    Turn/Rear defrost fuse keeps popping

About a month ago my turns stopped working. Worked one day, didnt the next morning. Flasher still worked so I assumed it wasn't a fuse issue. Wound up getting an oem fog light kit (to replace multifunction switch). No dice. Looked at the fuses finally when I noticed my rear defroster wasn't...

    Dangling ground wire?

Bringing up an old thread I know. My strap went out, the one to the trans I'm pretty sure. Anyone know where on the trans it's located?

    turn signal not working

As it turns out the fuse popped every time I but it in reverse. The issue was a faulty reverse switch.

    turn signal not working

I know im bringing up an old thread. Just had the same thing happen to mine. Hazards worked but the stalk did not engage the signal. Installed some OEM fogs (figured 100 bucks more than the switch to get foglights was a deal) and still the same issue. Pissed, and confused, I was headed to the...

    Odd Vibration....

Glad that took care of your problem. How did you know what size U-joints to get? Looks like rock auto shows two different sizes. I need to tackle this soon... Getting a rotational thud sound when braking at low speeds. I have a sport model, so I assume its going to be the smaller 3 1/2" OD yoke...

    Heat does not work!

If both hoses that connect to the heater core are hot, odds are that isn't the problem.
