I think the dealership has me confused.
right ha. then they want to get lippy with me because the mechanic had already put on the new sensor. I said ok well I never asked you to do that. I will pay for the part and put it on myself. I think the dealership has me confused.
With the typical jeep liberty owner..(young Ill-knowledged girl). Tried to say $226 to install the rear speed sensor.. I've done it before took maybe 3 min. Literally involves one bolt. Regardless of which one it is you will still have the average mpg feature. And I think there's a way to turn off the auto locks without an evic an just your key fob. Search in the how to: "tweak your keyless entry". Oh and in regards to the above post. I'm positive this evic will work. Here's my...- kjweston

You don't need anything for the instant MPG feature, it calculates it for you. the TPMS you most likely don't have but you can get the sensors at the dealership and then be able to monitor your tire pressure from the evic instead of checking each one individually. Sometimes i wish i had the TPMS...- kjweston

TWO broken regulators in one day? Opinions please.
The dealer just replaces it with the same thing... I doubt they will change the design of it unless a recall is made. It was stupid to use a cheap thin plastic to hold the window like that in the first place but oh well nothing we can do about it except get the Steiger perfomance repair kit...- kjweston

Window Regulator???
they will replace it with the same exact piece that fails, and will fail again. along with a new piece of glass you will have to re tint if you have tint.. You have to take the motor and track out of the door to really see what breaks. its not that hard to do after you figure out the trick...- kjweston

One had instant MPG like the one i bought.. The other had TPMS tire pressure monitoring system. I believe the TPMS one is more common. oh and to calibrate the direction thing find a big open parking lot and drive in a figure 8 i think. or maybe in big circles.. took her for a ride and its not fixed.. but the CEL is throwing 0500 which if I'm not mistaken is vehicle speed signal circuit or something like that.. hopefully The dealership will take care of the seal and the sensor for less than an arm and a leg.- kjweston

damn. Checked the level in my rear diff and its normal. right at the bottom of the fill hole. and its still looks pretty damn clean. i hate when the solution is unknown. =[ dealership here i go..- kjweston

Well now my radio works. So I'm thinking there might not be enough fluid in my rear diff and that's what's messing my rear speed sensor up in turn not sending any info to my dash. I called jeep and he said to bring it in for a free diagnosis so Ima take her to the stealership one of these...- kjweston
