    Modifying the Rockfather Lift

Is that not bad for the suspension? I figured that's why one wanted to avoid spacer lifts because it preloads them?

    Modifying the Rockfather Lift

What is the clevis lift technique? And your vehicle is a kk, does it work on kj?

    Modifying the Rockfather Lift

I just want it at 3 inches. Anything more than that and I feel like libertys are too top heavy. My opinion

    Modifying the Rockfather Lift

Thank you, how much lift did you get for those items?

    Modifying the Rockfather Lift

2948 for the rear springs? Are there rear shocks? All I currently see inside the spring on the rear wheels is a rubber stopper of some sort? And then 2947 for the front springs? What about the front shocks? I've seen several posts where people have ordered the wrong lengths and screwed stuff...

    Modifying the Rockfather Lift

Okay, so what would be the names of those parts I would want to buy individually to get that 3 inch lift.

    Modifying the Rockfather Lift

Allright, so I see a lot of dislike for the Rockfather lift kits from rocky road. However they all seem to be much older posts and the alternatives they suggest have either failed hyperlinks or the product doesn't exist anymore. I don't want to rehash an old discussion but from what I can find...

    Rusted rocker recommendations

Go to a scrap yard, at least in utah I find libertys there all the time. Bring the tools you need and take the parts you want. It's always dirt cheap as well. For example I got a full set of steel armor for Ruby (engine, transmission, transfer, and gas tank plates) for 100 bucks. I can't...

    Ground Clearance?

Your gona be somewhere between 8 and 5 inches. Best way to find out is take a tape measure go from the lowest point and find out yourself because springs and shocks soften differently over time.

    Excursion planning- looking for trails!

Honestly, it sounds cheesy, but getting instagram and following offroad accounts has been super helpful. (You can find what accounts actually run their jeeps by just going through reels)

    Airing Down for Off Road

I wouldn't go lower than 20 ish (big ish) (everyone's got different tires and vehicle weight) for dirt and rock. (Unless your running beadlock rims then do what you'd like) Reasoning; Airing down tires contrary to public belief isn't the magic answer to traction. It's main purpose is to widen...

Want to install usable rooftop rails, easily done? Best place to order the rails? Thanks

The only other option I have found that doesn't break under stress (my stock ones totally bent and snapped) are these. https://www.rocky-road.com/jeep-liberty-roof-rails.html $230 bucks for two metal tubes was too much for me though. So my recommendation is get some sheet metal screws, 2 inch...

Want to install usable rooftop rails, easily done? Best place to order the rails? Thanks

Honestly, I got tired of having to hunt for quality Liberty parts in that department. I just went online and found a fj cruiser roof rack, fits the same dimensions and actually has lots of people still making accessories for them.

    Power Window Button Issue

I own a 2004 Jeep liberty limited. I don't know if it was standard in this model but the window power buttons are in the middle console. I just discovered that all 6 buttons to all 4 windows no longer work. I don't think it's an issue with the window motors because I've had and fixed that...

    Off Roading in a Limited?

With the right recovery gear and a willingness to make repairs, you can do any trail. :P If you have never been offroading before, don't start with jeep badge of honor trails, even easy ones. Get on sites like All trails and look for firebreak roads, outdoor service roads, the kind of thing...

    Breather Bellows?

I've looked around some and no one seems to have really used them. They're usually found on more of your offroad toys then actual vehicles as replacements for breather tubes. Does anyone know if the bellows work on jeeps? I'm thinking of trying to top off my breather tubes just as an extra...

Alternative to Tow Hooks as Tie Down Points

Ya I know they would never work as tow hooks, they're just tiedowns to use instead of the towhooks.

Alternative to Tow Hooks as Tie Down Points

If you have seen the new Broncos, you've seen their tie down points on the front of the car next to the hood. (If not see attached pic) I like the idea and would love to attach something like that in the same place on my 2004 Liberty. The idea would be something I could tie anything from limb...
