Thank you Tommudd ! Questions …. What about the strut spacers in the from ? Take them out ? What kind of lift height over stock would the front wind up being ? The Rocky spacer lift I have adds a claimed 2.5” in the front and 2” in the rear. I’d like to stay at this height. I run the stock 16”...

    Oxygen sensor plug extension

I have a 02 Liberty Sport with the 3.7 and had to change the drivers side, upstream o2 sensor two years ago. I got the old out, but not without a struggle. And as you say, it was impossible to get the new one one plugged back in and reinstalled. If whomever designed that wiring harness would...

    Steering rack bushing replacement help

You can change the bushings without removing the rack. I dropped the skid plate first. Then Dropped the swaybar and disconnected the links. Then we jacked up the drivers front wheel and took it off. Then Loosened the nut on drivers lower ball joint and ran it out until it was flush with the end...

steering rack cradle bolt top of bushing worn

Well we got the bushings installed today ! I did like tommudd said. I dropped the skid plate, removed the sway bar, disconnected both tie rod ends at the knuckles. Removed the rack bolts. Using a large, about 18” long pair of channel locks, I could grab the rack from below and I was able to roll...

    245/70r16s Fit on Stock Rim

I run 245/75 16’s on the stock 5 spoke wheels on my 02 Sport. I do have a 3.5 in lift on the front and 2” on the rear. If I really cut my wheels hard , the tire will polish the sway bar. Biggest I ran pre-lift was 235/70 with no issues

    Rocky Road control arms

I’m not saying anything bad about RRO because, so far nothing but good has come for me since I got those UCA’s . Lined up good, drives straight as an arrow, handles great and still rides good. Tires are wearing flat, if they’ve worn at all, and with no cupping. If for any reason I have a...

    Rocky Road control arms

I just got them about 4 months ago and they bolted right in with no fitment issues. They came with instructions, replaceable and greaseable Moog ball joints, lifetime warranty and less expensive than the vaulted JBA’s. The only modification I did was to open open up the flanges where they mount...

    Rocky Road control arms

I’ve got a set of Rocky Front UCA’s on my 02 Sport and mine seem to work just fine. It fixed the clearance issues with the springs on the front struts and it lined up fine. Why does everyone keep trashing RRO ?? JBA would have taken 4 to 5 months to get and RRO had mine to me in3 weeks.

Grease fittings for lower ball joint

Todd is correct as I am putting mine back together after the lower front passenger ball joint came loose and separated. Turns out that was due to the mechanic not putting the cotter pin it ! It took a year and 7 months for it to work loose. But I bought the Moog K-3199’s and if you read the...
