Stop-start is going into a lot of vehicles. So it is pretty seamless I guess. So it has an on-off switch?
I wonder if this option is really saving gas/money by the time you subtract the extra wear and tear on the starter/battery and possibly reduced longevity of the affected parts?

An MV50 would be not too pricey and work good. They hook up right to the battery with positive and negative clips. A Viair would be better but pricey. You want something that hooks right to the battery for more power.

Ha ha.....I just cleaned mine out because I needed the room to carry some stuff. Then I just cleaned it so it is empty and clean. But there is a pile of stuff on the garage floor that needs to get put back in.

Yeah, I have the original 05 sales brochure from when I bought my KJ. In it there is a separate option for the "offroad package". It included skids, hooks, rock rails, and trac-loc. (For the 05 model). So it looks like it was possible to find one without that package although most dealers...
Agree. Better tires and no trash-loc. .....But if you already have trash-loc just learn to drive with it.....
Disagree with driving on snow if under 6" without using 4 wheel drive. I got 4 wheel drive and believe in using it. I am old so back in the day the second thing I did on a snowing...
