    Did about 100 highway miles this week back and forth to work. I usually take the back roads at 30-50mph but I'm preparing for a long hunting trip next month with about 5 hours of highway driving. No new leaks, creaks, or anything falling off yet.

    Passenger side CV and intermediate shaft replacement done! Huge difference - my Wife even said she notices (and she is not a big fan of my Just Empty Every Pocket KJ!) Now I have to decide if I want to go to the Ocean City Maryland Jeep week or the off-road park this weekend.

    I'm having my passenger side done Monday and when the shop ordered the parts his supplier said the intermediate shaft came with the passenger side CV axle. Based on everything I've read on this forum that does not sound right to me but I guess I'll find out.

    New brakes front and back, both rear axle seals replaced, and replaced front drivers side CV axle. Passenger side CV and intermediate shaft are next on the list.

    Thanks for the info and advice. I'm going to a shop my friend swears by for a second estimate. My buddy says they will do exactly what I want done and will install any parts I bring so let me see how that goes.

    Yeah I told that to the mechanic and he said he has had problems with poor quality on NAPA reman's (not for a KJ though.)

    I originally had a BDS 2" lift and had a CV's done at the same time since they were original at 102K. I upgraded to a JBA 2.5" lift 25K miles later and had to replace both CV's again. Now 15K miles later I found out the intermediate shaft was never replaced like I asked and now the passenger...
