    Coolant Service

if you haven't touch your petcock in a while then I think most people avoid touching it. There's an Oring on the end of it that may cause sealing issues if it damaged. there's also the engine block coolant drain plug as well. Something that I don't personally dare to venture.

remove thermostat housing and lower rad hose to drain. undoing the WP will drain as well. I've used my petcock as well with no issues. YMMV

    Bad radiator?

on the KJ, you can cut a small notch on the bottom of the HD shroud so it'll provide some clearance from the clutch fan which would allow one to remove the shroud without removing the clutch fan. couldn't find past pictures on the forum.

    Bad radiator?

i'd also pressure test the radiator cap too. did you buy HOAT already? Does cutting a notch on the HD fan shroud also apply to the KK like the KJ?

    Coolant problem

the right side of the reservoir tank is the overflow side. I would get a loaner tool from your local autoparts store and pressurize your system. There might be a leak in your reservoir or system. I would also check the radiator cap as well with the tool.
