If you have never replaced the vent hoses before it might be a good idea. They will dry rot out over time. Also since you applied a lift it might not be a bad idea to make the hoses a bit longer than stock to allow for more flex.
There was a recall on a switch that sits on the door handle of the rear gate. You will have to take the back panel off and make sure the switch is bad. I believe the new switch is less than 10 bucks but don’t quote me in that. See if the recall was done, they might fix it for you for free!!!!!
What year is the jeep ahjjones and what seat are you reaching under? Would anyone know if a faulty seat belt switch could set off an air bag light? I don't think that it would, unless is there is pressure pad in the seat it would.
Diesel Fuel is not bottom of the barrel fuel. It’s only a mid level hydrocarbon when it is distilled. If you want to think of bottom of the barrel think of asphalt and lubricants. I would rather own a vehicle running on diesel fuel than gasoline. Also in the past few decades’ diesel fuel has...
If you got the 42rle a new trans pan is only like 10 bucks from the dealer. So you don’t have to bother about rust coming though the pan again if you did not get it all. The dealer actually had to call another dealer to see if the price was correct. He would not believe what the computer was...
The staff over at diesel power magazine bought a used jeep liberty CRD and over the next few months they will be doing some modifications to it.

Yes that vacuum hose just pulls right off. Your cruses control cable pulls off to the front of the vehicle. I did the mistake about 2 weeks ago and thought it was the old ball type where you could just pry it off NOPE. Be careful now, there is not a whole lot of plastic there.
Ended up taking the control arm out for shits and giggles to see what it looked like. Noticed the bushings are torn, they don’t look like they are engineered very well. I have access to a press so I think I will just buy new bushings.
I was curious if anyone out there has had to replace the bushings or ball joint in the rear control arm. I am having the back end dog tail out then I give it gas and release. Since that controls side to side movement of the axle it has to be either one of the two. I was just wondering if...
Yea it’s pretty easy just a few bolts and the whole axle will just role right on out. It’s nothing special than from any other axle swap. Just check all the bushing and bearing, now would be a good time to replace them.
Ok guys I need a little help picking new springs for my ride and boy is it time for some new springs. I was looking at RockAuto for some new coil springs. The springs I found are from Moog’s and were wondering if anyone is currently running them and how they are. I called RockAuto to find out...
