    as mentioned , u joints are probably going to go after having been operated in a single orientation and been asked to do somehting differnt. Cheap, easy and minor fix. Sub 150 Canadian dollar fix to have replaced, balanced, painted, 19.95 if your do it yourself less balancing.

    the risk on stock lenght is you can top them out when you hit bumps hard or flex. If they are not leaking you should be ok. The extended ones are much prefered for those reasons. when you take the stock lenght off and they still extend under pressure on their own, i'd say sell them. I...

    KJ Tri-Angulated 4 Link Meant the upper links look similar, specifically the red powder coat signature look. as opposed to the weld on truss visable on the 4 link. I'm pretty sure you in the know about that. edit: looks like i'm late to the unveiling party in the other 3 threads.

    doesn't look like the 4 link explicitly as i think that bugger welds on with a C style bracer. It definately has some look alike parts. How's the noise or non issue?

    take off your rear sway bar and you'll have a lot more room to work. Easier to get the ball joint out if you remove the 3 bolts above the pinion and take it out to beat on it. A jack under the rear diff when installing the new one with a helper makes the lineup much easier.

    I put my old jeep steels on a ford fusion we owned for a while, just pick up a set of hub centric rings if your devout about making sure they mount correctly.

    check the hub size, They might not be 71.5 mm required for the liberty. I know some patriot owners have put liberty or moabs on their jeep but I'm pretty sure their hub size is in the neighbourhood of 67.15 mm therefore won't fit the liberty.

    Block heater would be nice but an Odyssey PC 1500 34/78 battery would be a better choice for a short term trip if your never going to use the block heater again. Replace your power steering high pressure hose before you leave and you'll make it a year with those temperatures.

    the gates tensioner fits the 2007, replace the whole unit. My old belt had stretched a lot. I mostly blame the ATF 4+ in my power steering + the temps i see up here with blown PS hoses to prove it.

    If they are not making noise i would leave well enough alone. The movement seems to be more then most and are probably worn but they are holding together and you don't have the creaks or clunks most get so i wouldn't mess with it. Atlantic Canada undercoating FTW.

    Replaced Rear UCA. Pulled sway bar and harmonic dampener at the same time since I didn't have a 21 mm cresent wrench and all that stuff was in the way. Would have speed up the process significantly. Front pinion seal / driverside axle is leaking. pretty sure i got a rattle on driver side...

    So the part i found is 52088901AD-M for heavy duty only part supplier with the -M is Morris rock auto has Mopar listed without the M. as does 2007 Jeep Liberty Parts like 52088901AD If its mopar and not cheapo is there a difference?

    Co workers 3.8L JK burned oil something awful, From what i've read its not an isolated incident. Got the 3.6 in my minivan, excellent engine.
