A friend of mine at the tranny shop said you can use your oil dipstick to check the tranny fluid. Clean it off and then check tranny fluid. The level should be 1 1/2" above the full mark on stick.
First thing is check to see if it coming from the weep hole in the water pump. When the seal starts to go in the water pump or pump starts to go it will leak.
I had a hard time getting the upper bolts out on mine. I used PB Blaster and worked the bolt in and out for a while before it came loose. When I reinstalled the upper bolts into the frame I put never seize on the first.
Thanks for the reply's. They were very helpful and made the job easy! I had a deer run into the door when I was driving to my deer stand believe it or not but the deer put a nice crease in the door. I tried to remove as much of the crease as I can. The deer unfortunately got away! LOL
140,000 miles on my 2010 Liberty. Replaced the serpentine belt, struts, idler pulley, water pump, rear shocks, lower rear control arms, coils, plugs and torque converter.
