Does anybody know what diameter the stabilizer bar in a 2010 Liberty is? I have tried to order the bushings for it but they ask what the diameter is. It seem that they went to a different size since Liberty's have been around.
I am in the process of doing the same thing. First off is the struts and rear shocks then off to the A arm bushings and ball joints then followed by stabilizer bar bushings. Mine aren't so bad but I have 132,000 miles on her so I am replacing in the order that I think is good for me.
If your's...
I've seen the listing for the Dorman shaft but there are other good driveline shops that make good driveshafts with replaceable u-joints. I think I will try one of them first!
I was afraid of that when I say the staking on the caps! Didn't know if there was a groove in the yoke for a clip or not.
All the listings in the catalogs were for a Dorman drive shaft which this isn't.
Update: pulled drive shaft to see what is up and saw that the factor crimps the yoke to retain the caps on the U Joint. Measured caps to be 1.062 on all 4 front and back. Don't know about the other axis measurement because of the crimping. Don't know if the measurement between caps is correct.
Does anyone know what u-joints to use on a 2010 jeep liberty sport 2wd? I have been going around and around with the local parts stores about the universal joints. They only show parts for a Dorman driveshaft but I don't think I have a Dorman driveshaft. The caps are of the same diameter...
Replaced my water pump last week because of the same reason. Coolant coming out of the weep hole. I used Zerex G-05 and the only thing negative I can say about it is that I can't see the level in my coolant tank! I mixed it properly and also checked it with a hydrometer. It is good for -40...
Does anyone have a fix for a leaking transmission line where it connects to the cooling lines? The leak is where the connection between the tranny lines and cooling line meet. I have taken the e clip out and separated them but didn't see an o ring! I was going to try to replace the o ring to...
I to did a brake job on my 2010 KK. I had to beat the rear rotors off because of the ring that developed on the outside of the e brake. Just as I suspected I had to buy a e brake hardware kit and replace the retaining pins. I went ahead and replaced the springs also. I had a hard time with them...
I have to purchase a new water pump for my 2010 Jeep Liberty with a 3.7 cu.in. engine. While on line I see that they make the water pump with a plastic or metal impeller.
So does the OEM part come in plastic or metal impeller? Which is the better water pump?
Thanks in advance.
I have a 2010 Jeep Libby and love it. It's also 2wd and rear driven. The only downfall I can see is in the winter I put on a set of studded tires and some weight in the back. Otherwise great ride!
I have a 2010 Libby and tow a 20' Coleman tag along with it. I had a brake controller installed with a weight distribution hitch to stop sway on the trailer. I have towed this setup for over a year now with no troubles. The trailer weighs 3000 lbs dry and not loaded. Ran back and forth from Pa...
