PCV valve replacement
I own a 2006 Liberty 4x4 3.7L gaser. I looked for my pvc valve and think it is attached to the oil fill tube. Am I right about that? I can't get it off because of a hard plastic retainer that doesn't cooperate. What's the trick to getting the old pvc valve out? This assuming I have...- ron.dittmer

For the life of me, I can't understand why Chrysler would delete the passenger side and rear tail gate key'd locks. It's supposed to be a wilderness vehicle afterall. When we took our Liberty in for the lower control arm recall, they saved one from another Liberty. The rust problem was serious. I am glad we had ours taken care of.- ron.dittmer

Over the weekend, our 2006 Liberty multi-speed fan control stopped working. The fan blows air only at maximum speed. I assume there is a module that provides the other speeds, and it has failed. Any tips on where the part is located and a good place to purchase a replacement?- ron.dittmer

Health Reasons - Quiet & Snow/Off Road Tires
It has been nearly 3 months and a good amount of driving time & miles on the Firestone Destinations. All is still very well. Glad I bought them. They are a very quiet and comfortable riding tire. You wouldn't think so when looking at the aggresive thread design.- ron.dittmer

Well I got the new Firestone Destination A/Ts on the Jeep Liberty. I noticed the difference immediately. The ride is much more comfortable, they grip the road much better under all conditions, and the tire-to-road noise completely went away. I do not have skid plates. The only thing I see under there is a roller thing, I think to protect the rear differential. Generally speaking, our adventuring would be limited to primitive dirt & gravel roads with an occasional easy washout. We did wonder if the vehicle could handle that...- ron.dittmer

We have a matter of great concern with our 2006 Liberty Sport. On very rare occasion when the drive wheel slips upon quick acceleration, the traction control kicks in as normal, but will have a one to two second delay before the system wakes up and allows the vehicle to move forward again...- ron.dittmer
