KJs are one of the cheapest ways to have an off-road capable Jeep....much less expensive than a LOT of ratty CJs, XJs, and TJs....much less nicer ones...
The ONLY comparable bargain is a 4cyl. YJ which will have 4.10s already and with leaf springs is relatively cheap to lift...

If it's the valve cover leak, you will get intermittent blasts of the smell of burning oil as the fresh air vent intake is located close to the source of the smell...you think if it's only once in a while no big deal...in my case, it got worse and worse until the white smoke puffs got pulled...
The leak is at the passenger-side valve cover rear...it is very close to the firewall...
You can buy the gasket for about $25-30 bucks and change it yourself...you just have to remove the airbox and intake hose from the throttle body, drain off some coolant, remove the heater hoses from the...
