    Catalytic converter rattling.....going bad.....

Without the catalyst honeycomb you are going to have a SERIOUS decrease in exhaust back pressure which is VERY bad for the engine so get that new cat in there ASAP EDIT: to elaborate further, without that back pressure there is a high chance of sucking a valve. ex. my buddy ran his 4.7l (which...

Alignment issues with JBA arms (NOT without???)

the JBA's were designed for lifts at the height specified by troy, it's the way they are angled. And he's also right about the guy doing the alignment, there's two bolts on the LCA that are adjustable not just one. I've had to fix some alignments from people who just didn't understand them...

    Oil change SNAFU

That's the exact thing that I noticed, also started tapping so I bumped up to 10-30 and no more tapping noise and less oil usage

    Squeaky Coilover

The thing with the bushings needing to be tightened with the load on them is due to the fact that if you tighten them without it, they will be torqued in a position with no load so when you lower the vehicle, they will constantly be in a twisted state reducing the life of them drastically

    Universal Antifreeze

Sounds just like pepboys, we had a customer that bitched and moaned because his alternator was put in in 10 minutes when on the bill he was charged for an hour of labor. He wanted his money back because of that, the service manager told him that that's not how it works, if it had taken 2 hours...

    Universal Antifreeze

Speaking of VW's gotta love it when a customer comes in and refuses to put the right oil in. "Sir your vehicle requires 5w-40 full synthetic" "I don't care put 5w-30 dino in I'm not paying for that nonsense". Yea that one almost blew the motor pulling it out the bay, now that I think of it, it...

    Speedo quit on me

So the VSS decided to quit on me again. Does anyone have the MOPAR part# since the VSS I used is a BWD which only lasts a year apparently EDIT: Nvm I got it for inquiring minds it's MOPAR 56041393AA

What is the best oil/filter to use?

Mobil is g2g stuff. If you run that in your engine when it's brand new it'll keep it that way.

What is the best oil/filter to use?

And just because you "run" a shop and are older than me doesn't mean anything. A well built oil filter will not crush like your cheap ass chink ones. Ever here of the countless JiffyLube filter problems from running inferior china made filters?

What is the best oil/filter to use?

Well when I can crush a filter with my bare hands, the filter gasket falls off, and the fact that they straight up explode or expand within the 3k OCI, I refuse to use that garbage. Go ahead and keep using em if you want but I sure as hell won't trust my vehicle with anything from chinkyland...

Brake getting hard on their own

Does this problem exist while the jeep is running? If not you may have a leaking vacuum accumulator as this will cause you to loose vacuum and have the brake pedal go hard after shutting if off and leaving it sit. That or you could have a slow leak in the booster itself, or the seal where the...

Pulled the trigger on a lift...now what do I need to know?

Finally thinking of lifting it huh? ;) Well for starters I'd check the out the uca's and see how those balljoints are looking same with the bushings. You can have JBA put the coilovers together for you for a price. So for the front you'd be looking at the assembled coilovers plus extended...
